About Mark
Mark was born in Kingston Pennsylvania as one of triplets—he had two female womb-mates. His first uniform was Boy Scouts leading to Eagle Scout. At 18, he was accepted to the United State Military Academy where he was an All-American Wrestler and donned another uniform as a cadet.

The day after graduation from West Point, he married his beautiful wife Carole and they have four wonderful daughters. He served in an Infantry Battalion of the 101st Airborne Division in Vietnam. Their family occupied seventeen different abodes in the U.S and abroad as they moved from post to post seeing the world and working with great leaders like Colin Powell. He retired as a Colonel.

books, and spent twenty-five years facilitating seminars regarding the subject of
managing and leading. I have been in leadership positions for over fifty years.
All of this experience has taught me that there are some prevalent myths concerning
management and leadership that need to be addressed. I was unable to find a book or
course that addressed them to my satisfaction so I decided to write a book that would.(less)
