Canadian based author, Sonia Garrett, was born in England, grew up in Australia, and returned to England for university. She graduated from University of East Anglia with BA(Hons) in Drama and English.

She has worked as a dancer, clown, actor, drama teacher, and franchise owner for Gymboree Play and Music.

Sonia has settled down to being a mom, Montessori teacher, storyteller, and author. She lives in the gentle chaos of books, film and outdoor paraphernalia, cooking ingredients, and gardening equipment in her adopted home of Deep Cove, North Vancouver - a life she shares happily with her stunt performer/co-ordinator husband, and their daughter.
