Double Agent Countdown

There are only five days left until Double Agent is LIVE! I can’t believe the day is already approaching. This is a very special moment for me. Double Agent will always be my first novel, and whether people like it or not, it is essential to making me a better writer. I only hope this experience will help me better master my craft and develop stronger stories in the future.

In other news, I have finished writing the first draft of the first novel in my upcoming Sandy Heights series. Now let the self-editing commence. I will be rereading and fine-tuning the manuscript before I send it to my editor. After that, I will be in the market for a handful of Beta Readers, but I will let you know when it comes to that. I am so in love with this story, and I cannot wait to share it with you all! More details will be coming soon.

Until next time…

What 2018 Will Bring…

I hope you all had a Merry Christmas (Happy Chanukah, Kwanza, or whatever you celebrate).

The new year is coming, and I hope you all have a Happy New Year! 2018 is going to be a very exciting year for me. On January 15th, my debut novel, Double Agent, is going to be released. But that’s not all I have in store for the new year.

My new year’s resolution this year is to write more. In doing so, I hope to be able to publish at least 2-3 more novels this year. Currently, I am writing the first novel in my Sandy Heights series. I have been working on it for a couple of months now, and I cannot wait to finally finish it. I have a good amount of plots and characters planned for this series, and I can’t wait to tackle each one of them. Of course, I have to take it one step at a time.

I’m hoping to finish the first Sandy Heights novel by the end of January so I can start editing it. Then if all goes well, we might be looking at an April or May release date. But let me not get too far ahead of myself. I’m just so eager to share my stories with you guys. I have wanted to become an author for the longest time, and I can’t believe that this dream is finally coming true. I hope that over this next year, I will become a better writer and in-turn, a better author. After all, none of this would be possible, if it wasn’t for my fairies…and the readers. Thank you all!

Double Agent Announcement

I am beyond ecstatic to finally announce that my debut novel, Double Agent, will be released in one month on January 15th. The cover will be revealed soon (I’m just waiting for a few minor adjustments to be made). Here is the book description:

Shrewd, sleek, and sexy as hell, Aaron Hunter is the guy your girlfriends warn you about, but he’s also the guy that stands between me and a promotion. All I have to do is beat him at his own game by exposing his dirty, little secret. The only problem is, the more time I spend with him, the more I want him. Can I keep the façade up long enough to make him trust me, or will I end up being another name on his long list of conquests?

I cannot wait for it to finally be released. I’ve been working on this novel for a long time now and cannot believe that this day is finally approaching. It is so surreal! The book will be available for pre-order on Amazon soon so be on the lookout for it.

First Post

Today is the day I publish my very own website. It may look like a giant work-in-progress now, but in a couple months time, it will be full and complete.

On to other news…

The edited version of my manuscript is complete and approved. I just sent it to my formatting fairy to format the ebook and print files. I should have more news on that next week. I’m so excited for many reasons (one being that Star Wars: The Last Jedi comes out this Friday), but mainly because I cannot wait for my first novel to be published.

I’m currently in the market for ARC readers. If you are interested please email me at author@jpnicholas.com or just contact me via the contact page of this website.
