Have We Met Before?
Have We Met Before? is a short film in which an excerpt from my book, Initial Meeting, is used as the narrative.
"Maybe you loved me, Maybe you love me, Maybe you will," is a piece that entertains the possibility of a parallel universe(s). Have you ever met someone, felt an instant connection, and wondered how that could be? I have been left dabbling with the thought that perhaps we already exist together elsewhere, explaining the intensity of attraction and familiarity between two individuals who have only just recently met – or is it possible that they have, in fact, met before?
This film will be entered into My Rode Reel's 2018 film contest.
I cannot even begin to express how grateful I am to have crossed paths with a group of such incredibly beautiful, passionate, and talented women who are literally bringing a piece of Initial Meeting to life. I am so unbelievably enamored, thank you for letting me be a part of this. Thank you for allowing my words to inspire this project, and thank you for inspiring me all the same. Thank you, a thousand times, Yossuana, Natalie, Kathya, Eunhye, Ana, Sonia, Alma, Melanie, and Emanuel.

With Eternal Gratitude
There are a number of individuals on this earth who have, undoubtedly, allowed me to feel as though my words were worth something. Over these past 5 months, my work has been considered to be breathtakingly refreshing, raw, incredibly relatable, magical, touching to the extent it has changed another's perspective on life. I've been called talented and that in itself sends me over the moon, simply because I did not feel as though I was. I judged my ability to create based on the lack of likes or reblogs my work would receive on Tumblr throughout the years. It wasn't until I began submitting my work to WNQ-Writers on Tumblr during the summer of 2017 that I realized an audience was drawn to my words, that there are people out there who genuinely connect and feel close to my own experiences, flirting alongside my day dreams, concepts, and theories.
As a self-published author, I am beyond grateful to have made it this far, solely because the odds are against us. I will continue submitting my work to various publishing companies in hopes that Initial Meeting and my future projects will one day be accepted. But for now, know that each and everyone of you has played a part in allowing me to do what I love. Words cannot express how grateful I am and the warmth I feel knowing you have all enjoyed our Initial Meeting.

10 tidbits that may help to better your mental health!
1. Think about what you love and do your best to incorporate those things into your daily life.
2. Think about who you love and who loves you and bask in the presence of each other as often as possible. This life is much too short to give energy to toxic environments and negative people.
3. Communication is key. Do your best to express your concerns or feelings whenever possible and appropriate. Listening is just as important, for it may help you process your own emotions/needs as well as understanding theirs.
4. Pour your heart into your craft, whatever it may be. And find the time to indulge in it as much as possible. You know, do what makes you happy. Often times this can be a means of helping others, in which we gain satisfaction vicariously.
5. Take care of your body, for physical health is just as important. Eat all the food you love in moderation. Take walks, swim, ride bike. There are many forms of exercise you may find enjoyable.
6. Remember that tomorrow is another day, a fresh start. You can always try, again.
7. Remember that you are just as intelligent, just as beautiful, and just as deserving.
8. Allow yourself the time to heal, allow yourself whatever amount of time that may be.
9. Discover new artists, new music, individual’s with concepts you can relate to. Drown in what moves you.
10. Don’t be afraid to try something new and exciting, for new experiences may lead to a new found happiness in the most unexpected places, for the most unexpected things.
