In fact, it was just my head telling me I couldn't or I shouldn't. . .because I've always written. Whether it was good or bad, little notes or whole essays, I've always written. I think that what we call writer's block is letting outside expectations get in the way of the voice of our truest self that is always speaking to and through us. When we stop listening to the old voices in our heads, our hearts are always writing us whole.(less)
