Z T Quinn spent six months working on Manus Island, Papua New Guinea, as a Project Manager supporting asylum seekers within the Australian Government Offshore Detention Centre. That experience formed part of the inspiration for the fictional novel “Sanlundia”. He's also the Founder & Managing Editor of dyst Literary Journal, a quarterly journal of dystopian & political short stories, poetry and photographs, as well as a board member of the newly created charity Amiculus: The Humble Friend Project, designed to support asylum seekers and refugees within the Australian community.
