Rainy day
Today is a rainy day and everything outside is grey. I love it because I don‘t have the feeling to miss something while sitting at my desk writing my new novel. The good part of being a writer is that I can imagine everything – even sunshine while I‘m writing.
I started a new story taking place in Montana. What a beautiful landscape. Can‘t wait to go there and see it all by my own eyes.
Have a nice day y‘ all!!

Looking forward for my giveaway readers
Today is the last day of my giveaway auction on goodreads. I am really excited that so many people applied to read my book "Your heart in mine".
The book "Your heart in mine" is very important to me as it is a quite personal story. My father died when I was 20 years old and we received a call from the hospital asking whether we wanted to donate his organs. This was only half an hour after he had died. Looking back on that time, I can say that I was totally overwhelmed by the situation and especially this particular question. My family and I had never discussed this topic before and we were then suddenly forced to deal with this matter.
When I started writing, I always had this situation in mind. I wanted to show other people how important it is to deal with the matter of organ donation while one is still alive. I think in order to protect your loved ones from suffering like I did at that time, preparation can help family and friends in situations comparable to mine to bear with the emotional stress that comes with it.
I don‘t want to press anybody in anything. Donating is a very private matter and there is no good and bad and no general answer to it.
Still "Your heard in mine " is basically a love story about two people falling in love under special circumstances. I believe in love at the first side like I experienced it when I met my husband three week before I was to marry my fiancé at that time. But this a different story.
Please don not bother mistake in my writing here. I am german and not a nativ speaker. This is why I had a professional translator for my book. I think she did an excellent job and managed to transform my words into english.
So I hope to read a lot from you guys out there in the world.
Have a lovely day.

Challenge
Hi everybody.
I just gave myself a new challenge. I plan to write 10.000 words every day for the next two weeks. Let‘s see if I will manage. Normally I write about 5.000 words per day so this will be quite an experience for me.
I started a new novel yesterday about three brothers. Each brother will have his own story/book. Starting with Jason Clayborn the eldest of the three. He is the owner of the Clayborn Ranch in Montana. I had the idea while I was listening to country music and suddenly I had this picture of three handsome guys in Jeans and cowboy boots in my head.
I know it‘s quite common but let‘s see what twist I add to the story.
It‘s time to start ... so
See ya all.

First time
Hi,
It‘s my first time to publish on the english book market and I must say it' s so different to what we have in germany. Much bigger and confusing in a way.
I find it really hard to get in touch with readers and the marketing strategie is different too.
I think I have to find my way around and hope for some help. But it is great being on Goodreads and getting to know readers and fellow authors here.
So I will go back to work now. Have a nice day.
