Maja Vučković is a philosopher, a teacher of animal protection and a yoga instructor. Also, past and present, she is an activist with extensive experience in various areas of animal rights, from the theoretical, educational practice, channeled into her writings.

As a long time journalist, she published many articles on bioethics, aesthetics, ecophilosophy, yoga and healthy lifestyles. She is an author and co-author of numerous collections of papers, scripts, journals, books and bulletins. As a practical philosopher, she is engaged in philotherapy and research of biocentric ethics, deep ecology and social activism. She have independently performed as a lecturer at congresses, symposiums, forums and round tables on various topics.
