J.D. Fitzgerald is the self-published author of the book series Manhattan Girls. Its just one in the many of what's to come. His style of storytelling comes from well-known authors such as Danielle Steel, Judith Krantz, and Truman Capote, where they have a way of going through the experience of these character's lives. During his days in middle school and high school, he enjoyed such guilty pleasures as the Sweet Valley High and Gossip Girl Series, which got him to write his own teen series by age of 15. But the difference is, is that you get to explore these characters' lives and really get to know them as they journey on to adulthood and figure out what life brings them. Better than the movie Very fast-paced, interesting characters, and an awesome plot twist. I was definitely hooked. No pun intended. I highly recommend this.
