Okay, between LibraryThing and Goodreads and random author-run-ins in town, I now have a backlog of eight books to read and review (not even counting the original eight NEW books that I bought). Lol. I'm a lucky girl! Starting Song of the Nile tonight.Next, I have to read Kindle Self Publishing Success, then Salt (Dark Soundings) and Worlds Apart. Then a few more after that. Ha!
Which book should I read next? These are the ones that I just ordered or received recently:Geddy's Moon
Farmers & Mercenaries - Genesis of Oblivion Bk 1
Wrathful Skies (won't be out until at least January of next year -- ARC copy
The Bookman's Tale: A Novel of Obsession
I also still have to read the Lily of the Nile and Song of the Nile. I really owe the beautifully descriptive Miss Stephanie Dray a review or two. I feel awful about not reading them in a timely manner. I picked up the second in the series first instead of the proper way and gave up.
...perhaps I answered my own question! Okay, after the Nile books, which one? :D
So, I have 8 new books to read after I get through my one ARC book and one already-published book. Planning on also revisiting a book I received here on Goodreads that I was having problems finishing before, but it has to wait because of my new commitments....that's a lot of reading and reviewing. Haha. This'll be fun trying to find time. :D
Just received "A Bookman's Tale" and "Deeply Odd" in the mail. Can't wait to read them. I also have ordered the first two books in the Raven Boys series by Maggie Stiefvater and "The Ocean at the End of the Lane" by Neil Gaiman. I just have to trudge my way through "The Wall" for LibraryThing.com first. I hate finishing books that I'm not interested in. I keep waiting for something "good" or "inspiring" to happen. I even skipped ahead to see if there was anything to anticipate - nothing. So frustrating!

It's funny that I love to read new novels by new authors and happened to run into a book signing at Barnes and Noble on Saturday. I love exploring new ideas. Jane McMurry was a very dynamic woman. You can tell that she practices what she preaches.
Won my second book today! Woah! "The Godling Chronicles: The Sword of Truth." I'm very excited about this as well! TWO in less than three days?? WHAT?! :D I'm over the moon, for sure. :)
