Rebecca Kightlinger writes mystical historical fiction that chronicles the lives of the powerful women healers and seers of medieval Bury Down, Cornwall.

Originally from Erie, Pennsylvania, Rebecca studied Medicine at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and practiced Obstetrics and Gynecology for 20 years.

When a hand injury abruptly curtailed her life in Medicine, she turned to another love: fiction writing. She earned an MFA in creative writing from the University of Southern Maine's Stonecoast MFA program. Now a full-time writer, Rebecca carries out on-site research in Cornwall for her mystical historical fiction series, The Bury Down Chronicles.
