Dawn Best Eshleman lives in the relative calm of the Pennsylvania woods in an old town by an old river. An artist by trade, she was surprised when her path forked and led to writing about grief, motivation and positivity. In overcoming a string of personal tragedies, Dawn began to explore a career in coaching as well as writing. Common themes in her books include duality, law of attraction, and cognitive association. Her core message stems from the belief that people are capable of incredible things and that deep heartache begets the biggest miracles.

Legacy

The beginning of August brings with it the reminder that my mother would have been 64 years old this month. I’m reminded too that the Beatles, her favorite band, wrote a song about this landmark age. That makes it a funny anniversary in a way, and I wonder if she mightn’t be inclined to celebrate it with John and George, wherever they all are, in the Big Holy. Even now as I write this, I laugh a b
