Long Bay has now been officially launched by the Commissioner of Corrective Services and the Minister at Long Bay Correctional Centre. LONG BAY is now available in shops and www.longbay.net.au

Long Bay will be launched this week and goes into shops on Monday 16 April. On line sales www.longbay.net.au very strongly. Looking forward to some newspaper reporting and TV this week as well.

Very happy to say Long Bay is now available. It was released in mid February and until Easter is only available at www.longbay.net.au It will go into book stores after April.

Halstead Press has this week received some advance copies of the colour hard covered books. The 100 photos and layout exceed my expectations. Bulk copies arrive mid February. Hoping to have the launch of the book in April (in the prison) but in the meantime books will be available through me only. www.longbay.net.au

Halstead Press have advised me that the new book is on target to be printed in February. There are so many people to thank especially Dave 'Emu' Farrell who worked at 'The Bay' is the 1970s and 1980s and was part of the tough Malabar Emergency Unit. The MEU handled all the riots and the 'tough cases' who do not want to co-operate while in Long Bay and other NSW gaols.

I began writing Long Bay - the history of probably Australia's most notorious prison in 2013. It has been a labour of love! But it is so nice to know it will be published in the next few weeks. More information can be found www.longbay.net.au
