Former newspaper journalist/editor for more than 40 years. After Royal Air Force service, mainly in Germany, I worked on the Melton Times in Leicestershire, the Hertfordshire Mercury in Herford, the Exmouth Journal in Devon and the national newspaper of Wales, the Western Mail, in Cardiff. I was editor of the Exmouth Journal for 15 years. 'Requrements of Guilt' - a literary romantic suspense story set against a dark Nazi background - is my first novel and I am currently writing a second, 'Zinka'.
I am married, have two sons and enjoy reading, playing table tennis and chess, travelling and listening to mainly classical music. ...more
