totally getting ahead of myself (writing 5 and 6 at the same time)--the release order of the next three books is #5 Claimed by the Dragon Lord (Dain and Annalise--(and the big meeting between Thorin and his mother, where they decide to send a party to recover Calvin's body and send a new ambassador to Ungshire) ) #6 Wed to the Ogre Prince (Walker and Jane (where war is brewing in the West (because of Rhys) and the only way to stop him is to recover the lost kingdom of the ogres and break the curse holding the ogres in Dwarfholme) and #7 Bound to the Zombie Warrior (I like Jasyn. I also like Gwendolyn, she's very sausage-like :) And if you likeJasyn you'll see him again in Dain's story because he's still looking for that oven.

I've written two chapters of Claimed (so stoked!) Never realized there was so much about Annalise I didn't know, although it always bothered me that she was so sweet and nice.

I've also written a chapter (OMG!!! I'm writing again?? I'm not sure where it's coming from, but I'm very grateful) of Wed to the Ogre Prince. It's been a good day.

I know Dain's book starts during the big ball at Thorin's palace during the last of the Battle Day festivities (about two days after Taken ends), and I've written a couple of key scenes. I really hope I can finish this quickly--I want to know what happens! :)

whew, I never thought I'd say it, but...I finished! Yay! It's getting easier to write. I plotted out the next book--"and" wrote a key scene. And the first chapter. And it's just such a happy day I finally broke open my last box of Queen Anne dark chocolate covered cherries. Life is good.

It's uploaded and waiting for final approval--so happy! It's been a long haul, but it's finally done! Yay! Time to meet the greatest general in the greatest army in the world!

You ever get lost in the words? I have been trying and trying to get the paperback of the boxed set up. Rejected, trying, rejected again. Until the last time, it was just one teeny little error--and, yup. I did it again. I hit save and submit before I thought it through and now it's back to waiting. I will get it though. Although maybe not today or tomorrow.

My daughter says nobody is going to recognize Ri'al as a tanuki, so she wants a cat in my next story. And strangely enough, a cat shows up, although it could be because of a cat picture she posted next to my monitor. It likes fish, thinks all people are "hoomans" and occasionally walks on two legs.
