David Ward's Blog: Dead Lloyd

The official launch of my book Bay of Hope is in Waterloo, Ontario on May 22nd. Four days after that, in Parry Sound, I’m giving a talk about The Lost 10 Point Night to the Society for International Hockey Research (SIHR).

I invest enormous energy on Facebook, my photojournal, and my online course. I’m committed to making this site work as well but I'm feeling fear. It's time I jumped in.

"Take Dead Lloyd." That's what my mechanic says when I drop my truck off for repair; Dead Lloyd's his loaner. "I bought it from a friend named Lloyd," he tells me. "Lloyd's dead now."
