Reading, like many youngsters wasn't my cup of tea. But, after a series of books gifted to me on 'Raksha Bandhan' by my brother I was compelled to read. I am so thankful for the compulsion now.
A Quiver Full of Arrows was the first book that got me glued to reading.
Then it was
Tell Me Your Dreams by Sidney Sheldon which kept me hooked onto it for 3 days straight; start to finish.
After that there was no looking back, reading was surely my favourite pass time. Series of favourite books then came along like
The Catcher in the Rye,
Several other
Sidney Sheldon books until I was fully influenced by the works of
Jane Austen and
Ayn Rand to write my book
Choosing Happiness but of course this wouldn't be possible without my husband's constant encouragement.
"Nothing can substitute the habit of reading, It inspires and empowers people".
