AMBER NGUYEN is an award-winning writer and author of the Trivium Trilogy. Before she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English from Arizona State University, she majored in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology with a minor in Theatre at Oklahoma State where she was in the honors program. As a freshman research scholar at OSU, Amber worked on the VirOligo database which helps researchers needing virus-specific oligonucleotides. The work was published in Nucleic Acids Research. She also starred in a production of How I Learned to Drive in OSU’s Davis Theatre. While many thought her crazy for being both a scientist and an actress, she found a way to combine her passion for both in her writing.

When Your Story Gets Stuck

Writer’s block is real and happens to the best of us. One day you’re furiously writing your story as fast as you can type the words, and the next you’re drawing a blank and don’t know what went wrong.

The muse is gone. The creativity flew the coop. Your brain is mush and you start second guessing if the word reality is spelled wrong and you realize wordnesia is a real thing.
