BETH RICANATI, MD, a board-certified internist, has spent her career focused on improving the well-being of her patient’s lives, in traditional medical clinics, wellness programs, and now as an author/speaker.

She is the author of the multi-award winning memoir BRAIDED: A JOURNEY OF A THOUSAND CHALLAHS. Her second book will be published this September, 2026 and is titled THE BRAIDED PRESCRIPTION: SEVEN PRACTICES FOR LIVING WELL FROM THE ANCIENT RITUAL OF MAKING CHALLAH.

A heartwarming memoir that will stick with me for a while. Lisa Cheek perfectly encapsulates a literal and figurative moment in her life, made all the more wonderful by the addition of the addition of her dogs! Highly recommend!
