Charles Forgrave lives in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan with his wife, Linda, and their two beautiful children, Trey and Tishella, age 14 and 13, respectively. He enjoys spending time at the beach with them.

He worked his way through college by sailing on the Great Lakes and he graduated from Central Michigan University with a major in the social sciences and a minor in literature. Since, he has worked as a school teacher, a water surveyor and an Assistant Lock-master at the Sault Navigation Locks.

Several years ago he began to pursue his lifelong dream of being an author. He has written two books of short stories, another novel besides Love Buries a Spring Bird and a novella. However, Love Buries a Spring Bird is his only publication.
