Long tough road
Well, finally have some free time to catch up on this.
Been working on the house and taking care of my parents all winter. Man, trying to run wire in -30 weather isn't all fun and game. On the bright side, almost finished and should be moved in soon. I hope...
On a less enjoyable note, got a comment from someone who said she was offended by my book. I was taken aback by this. It is a fantasy book and I find it difficult to see how there is anything offensive in it. Granted, I wrote it. haha. Still, there isn't anything that even my sister thought was offensive. As a friend pointed out, in todays society, just about anything can be labeled offensive by someone who is looking hard enough. After thinking about it, I had to agree she was right. Still, not sure what was offensive about my book. Oh well.
I have been working on several story lines when I can for another book or two. One would be the second in this series. I was trying to finish it in two books. I don't see that happening now though. The other story line is for what I plan on making a stand alone book. We will see where that mercenary takes me. Yes, it is another fantasy story.

Snow
Well, had the first snow yesterday. Usually I like the snow and winter. This year, was hoping to get the roof on my house up and the well dug before the snow. Glad it wasn't a lot of snow. Might melt off shortly.
Work on the second book is coming slowly, most free time is spent at the building site. Will get back to work on it when I am done moving in. Kind of need a place to work on it.
