Sometimes in, Sometimes Broken
Hi everyone.
Just a heads up, I have a poetry book coming out very soon, the title is called "Sometimes in Love, Sometimes Broken."
Sometimes in Love, Sometimes Broken is a collection of 68 poems that cover the themes of Life, Love, Loss and Betrayal. These poems have been shared all over social media and I've received so many requests to publish them, so for better or for worse, I have gone down that road.
This collection of poems will not be for the faint hearted and some are quite dark. There will be no swearing /bad language, or any sexual themes, but they will cover situations where people find they have lost hope, fallen in love, suffered the humiliation of betrayal, and just general thoughts on nature and life.
Warmest regards to you all.
Mark.

The Goblin Forest
Well It's been a while, far longer than I expected, but the Goblin Forest is now with a professional editor for the next step. At 61,000 words, it a good size for young teens /adults. I am hopeful that it will be ready for submissions in April. My plan is to produce a few self-published author only versions to send out to reviewers before I start the submission process with publishing houses.
Thanks all, Mark.
In a faraway land an ancient forest holds a dark secret.
A secret that if awoken will unleash a terrible foe.
And awoken it has.
They are coming.
In their way stand two men.
One tormented by two children he could not save.
The other by two he must not lose.
Their only hope lay in the power of those who watch.
Only together can they defeat an unspeakable enemy.
And they only have four days to do it.
The clock is ticking …

The Kaiser's Phoenix
1940. The Battle of the Atlantic sits on a knife’s edge. With too few escorts to protect the convoys, the Royal Navy is being stretched to the limit. Now at the worst possible time comes another threat. A powerful new raider is loose on the high seas and threatens to route the convoys and starve Britain into submission.
The British however, have no knowledge of this warship. How could the German Navy have constructed such a ship without their knowledge?
Captain Arthur Parsons RN believes he has the answer. But his theory is too ludicrous to have any credibility. He must convince a skeptical British Admiralty by unmasking a decades old conspiracy.
A conspiracy that has allowed a ghost of the past to return. A ghost thought dead and buried for the past 22 years.

The Coconut Rebellion II
The Coconut Rebellion II
At the home of the Scourge, a small cavern lay halfway through the entrance tunnel. Inside brooded Krillanger. Compared to his previous luxurious dwelling, this cavern was an insult. But with nowhere else to go, what choice did he have?
Krillanger counted the days when his son would enter adulthood. For all would change after that. A genetic code lay embedded in Krillanger’s bloodline. A code of pure evil, past down from generation to generation. It lay dormant for now, but soon Louis and his nice ways would change …
Krillanger cackled gleefully. Not even the Squidfather knew of the family secret, as it had been carefully guarded for generations. Already his new plan was just about complete. This time the Squidfather would not interfere, because the Squidfather was the target!
‘Oh yes my dear readers,’ mused Krillanger, ‘I have not nearly aimed high enough! You see, I no longer want to be King. There a fare greater prizes on offer than being mere King. There is no more ultimate power in our waters than the Squidfather and that is where my destiny lies. I can see it now — a new era of domination with King Louis and the new Squidfather ruling with an iron tentacle!
‘All would bow before me! Nastiem, Marcus, the Manta-Ray Council. And of course, McScale and his wretched colony. When Louis feels the dormant evil awaken, he would seek me out. Then my plan would begin, muhahahahha!’
For now, there was work to be done —dangerous work. Krillanger glided out of his pitiful cavern and exited the home of the Scourge. He would head north-west to undertake the longest journey of his life. A journey that would take Krillanger to far away waters. For to take on the Squidfather, he would need an alliance with the most fearsome creature of all. A creature that most thought just a myth.
