Questions for the readers

Hi today I am pondering on the question on whether readers enjoy sequels or stand alone novels. I enjoy writing either so I would love to hear from all of you out there.
My other thought today is now that my newest book is almost complete what genre do you want to read next? I have a huge list (75 to be exact) of book ideas to write about , all I need is a genre from you.

Work progress

Hey everyone great news My new manuscripts are flowing smoothly.
I have the first chapter of the sequel to The Darkest Side of the Moon complete and the second one being done tomorrow.
Also the first chapter to my crime thriller is now complete too, my beta readers are going nuts. Especially the one who reads them chapter to chapter.:)
So excited to be writing these and can not wait to get them out on the shelves.
