Shawn Seah is the author of the children's book series, Our Amazing Heroes and Our Amazing Pioneers. He wrote several other non-fiction books for the general public, including Seah Eu Chin: His Life & Times; Leader and Legislator: Seah Liang Seah; and My Father’s Kampung: A History of Aukang and Punggol, which was a finalist for the Best Non-Fiction Title at the Singapore Book Awards 2021.

A published author and an engaging public speaker, Shawn has narrated memorable historical stories at various events, including the Singapore Heritage Festival, the Baba Nyonya Literary Festival, and the Singapore Writers Festival.
