And I did. I did learn to be honest, I based my life on it.
Then when I based love on it, it betrayed me.
He lied, or at least I believe he did. And then I created some secrets of my own, and I had to lie too. I guess I could say my subconscious drove me to do it out of revenge. What we had was so pure, so perfect, but she always got in the way, and I guess in a way, so did he and that's why I can't tell you.
When love is on the line, does honesty really matter anymore? Is it okay to keep a secret just to spare him and myself from reliving the mistake I made? Or should I be honest and tell him the truth and let him hate me for it?
