Hollie Anne Marsh grew up in Sydney and took off to London for a year or so in her twenties—and one year turned into more than a decade. Along the way, she worked in global marketing for big-name brands.

After living and working in cities around the world (and collecting enough life experience to fill a few novels), Hollie eventually returned to Australia. But it was in Barcelona where life changed most—she met her partner, had a son, and finally found the spark to write the stories she’d been carrying.

Hollie’s Sweetbriars equestrian series picked up awards and praise from Horse & Hound, the EQUUS Film Festival, and the Pony Magazine. Her latest novel, Tomorrow It Could Be You, was inspired by witnessing the shocking events of the 2017 Catal

I wanted to write a fun, addictive equestrian series since I was a teenager. I actually wrote the manuscript over fifteen years ago. Then after having my baby boy and a 'normal' corporate type job, I wanted to be creative and I finished it. It's inspired by experiences growing up and around horses... at Pony Club, competitions and everyday stuff including with my 'horsey' friends. I worked on it for nine months which was really a total rework of the manuscript. I am just starting the second book now and hope to have the first draft by four months cross fingers ( :(less)

Finding Violet, wins Young Adult, International WINNIE Award at the 2020 EQUUS Film Festival

I have some great news, the third book, Finding Violet has won the International Young Adult WINNIE award from the 2020 EQUUS Film Festival, which took place virtually this year. Proud to see Finding Violet showcased amongst some wonderful horse films and books! You can learn more here.

I really can't wait to watch some of the films, particularly the Totilas film! Check them out here.
