Rachael Morgan grew up in Western Australia. She was a primary school teacher for several years and always wrote as a hobby. After returning from living in the UK and missing the miserable weather and landscape, she found the next best place; Melbourne. Her reasons: it doesn’t require a long-haul flight, currency exchange and the cider is just as good.

It was during her time at Curtin University studying Communications she began taking her writing more seriously and was lucky to be tutored by well known Australian authors and writers
