Step away and stop fretting over it. Secondly, talk it over. Even with someone who can't actually give you ideas - just verbalising can really help you get to the bottom of a problem. Lastly, get yourself a physical representation of it to remind you. A friend of mine, for a secret santa, made me a 'writer's block' - just a piece of wood on which he'd written that you can only have one writer's block, and this was mine - so I'd never be bothered by it again. It might not literally be true, but metaphorically it reminds me that any stoppages are just in my mind.(less)
