Salome Beukes was born in Bethlehem, South Africa, and raised in Pretoria. From an early age, she had been taught the value of creativity and imagination. She fell in love with fantasy and romance novels in her teens - and has been an avid reader ever since. Because of her love for reading and the creative outlet it provides, she started writing for the fun and love of it in 2006.

She completed her first novel, 'A Predator's Touch', in her late twenties.
