While I write about Minecraft in Hardcore Mode, I'll let you in on a little secret -- I'm mostly just a peaceful and creative player. I like to spend my time building, farming, exploring biomes, and homesteading as well as playing mini games like treasure hunts, capture the flag, and my favorite game, color block!(less)

“Xander came to me after Phoenix left and”
Cara J. Stevens, The Ender Eye Prophecy: An Unofficial Graphic Novel for Minecrafters, #3

“We can't take any credit for our talents. It's how we use them that counts.”
Madeleine L'Engle, A Wrinkle in Time: With Related Readings

“If we wait until we're ready, we'll be waiting for the rest of our lives.”
Lemony Snicket, The Ersatz Elevator

“If one's life is simple, contentment has to come. Simplicity is extremely important for happiness. Having few desires, feeling satisfied with what you have, is very vital: satisfaction with just enough food, clothing, and shelter to protect yourself from the elements. And finally, there is an intense delight in abandoning faulty states of mind and in cultivating helpful ones in meditation.”
Dalai Lama

“Be patient toward all that is unsolved in your heart and try to love the questions themselves, like locked rooms and like books that are now written in a very foreign tongue. Do not now seek the answers, which cannot be given you because you would not be able to live them. And the point is, to live everything. Live the questions now. Perhaps you will then gradually, without noticing it, live along some distant day into the answer.”
Rainer Maria Rilke

“First, I do not sit down at my desk to put into verse something that is already clear in my mind. If it were clear in my mind, I should have no incentive or need to write about it. We do not write in order to be understood; we write in order to understand.”
Cecil Day Lewis
