Steph Traina (they/she) is a queer, disabled author, editor, writer based out of Toronto, Canada. They graduated from the University of Toronto with a double major in Neuropsychology and Professional Writing. Their debut book, The Long Walk Home, was published in 2018 by Life Rattle Press. This creative nonfiction memoir chronicles ten days as a psychiatric inpatient following a breakdown at age 21. Her article, The Abilify Paradox: Curious Cases of Mania Induced by an Anti-Manic Drug, is featured in Issue 7 of Compass, the University of Toronto Professional Writing program’s annual research writing publication.
