But how I've come to see writer's block as part of the creative cycle. There's a time for creating, editing and resting. All throughout the cycle, it's important to keep taking in as much other creative forms of media as possible, and maybe taking a little break from writing altogether to focus on other crafts, if you enjoy creating things other than writing. I paint, draw, make candles, tie dye and upcycle clothes. I'm even planning on making a tapestry, terrarium and some dreamcatchers. If you are a true writer, the pen will find its way back to you.
