The Plated Prisoner Series

I've read Raven Kennedy's Bully Romance series The Savannah Heirs and loved it (hopefully she eventually releases book four!). When Gild blew up on TikTok, I knew I had to try it, but I also knew I would binge the series seeing as book three had just been released. I was warned book three had a massive cliffhanger and knowing book five wouldn't be out for a whole year, I hesitated ... but ultimately gave in.

I've read all three books that are currently out and I am, as I predicted, dying for th...

The Savage and the Swan Review

The Savage and the SwanBy Ella FieldsOriginally Published July 14th, 2021Dual POV, First Person

The first thing that caught my eye with this book was the gorgeous cover. The second was the fact it was a Swan Lake / Rumplestiltskin retelling. The Hades and Persephone inspiration was an added bonus. But I was sold. I get so swept up in romances sometimes that it's weeks and weeks before I read another Fantasy book. Sometimes I start to think Fantasy isn't my thing anymore, then I fall upon a boo...

THE LIST

The fae abandoned this world to us. And the ones with power rule.

Gold.

Gold floors, gold walls, gold furniture, gold clothes. In Highbell, in the castle built into the frozen mountains, everything is made of gold.

Even me.

King Midas rescued me. Dug me out of the slums and placed me on a pedestal. I’m called his precious. His favored. I’m the woman he Gold-Touched to show everyone that I belong to him. To show how powerful he is. He gave me protection, and I gave him my heart. And ...

Beautiful Bastard Review

Beautiful Bastard (Beautiful Bastard #1)By Christina LaurenOriginally Published 2013Dual POV, First Person

Christina Lauren is a household name within the Contemporary Romance genre, but I bet not a lot of people remember they got the start writing this book here and posting chapters online. The Beautiful Bastard series remains my favorite books by Christina Lauren and is probably my initiation into spicy romance. I’m doing a series reread this month and I am pleased to report this is still as...

Ice Planet Barbarians

If you are on TikTok, more specifically your FYP is all BookTok videos, you’ve probably seen all of the Ice Planet Barbarians shenanigans. I found it hilarious, but Scifi has never been a favorite genre of mine and neither has “Monster Romance”, which is what I categorized alien smut under (I no longer believe this). I figured it would not be my cup of tea.

I have never been more wrong in my entire life. Never. I binged the first four and the first novella and I feel like a changed woman. These...

The Iron King Review

The Iron King (The Iron Fey #1)By Julie KagawaOriginally Published 2010Single POV, First Person

Over ten years ago, I first read The Iron King. It was my introduction to Young Adult Fantasy involving the Fae, and I’ve decided to reread the series in anticipation of returning to the world Kagawa has created with the publication of The Iron Raven this past February. I always refer to this series as the OG Fae series because, other than Artemis Fowl, I have no recollection of reading anything els...

THE LIST

I wish to reread the entire Iron Fey series so I can read The Iron Raven that released this year! This is my favorite series with the Fae, the OG Young Adult fae series. I hope rereading it for the first time in a while doesn't change my love of it!

MY NAME IS MEGHAN CHASE.

In less than twenty-four hours, I’ll be sixteen. Countless stories, songs and poems have been written about this wonderful age, when a girl finds true love and the stars shine for her and the handsome prince carries h...

June Releases

June has an amazing lineup from authors I love!

NEW RELEASES

, , ... !

Marymount girls are good girls. We’re chaste, we’re untouched, and even if we weren’t, no one would know, because we keep our mouths shut.

Not that I have anything to share anyway. I never let guys go too far. I’m behaved.

Beautiful, smart, talented, popular, my skirt’s always pressed, and I never have a hair out of place. I own the hallways, walking tall on Monday and dropping to my knees like the good Catholic gi...
