Just dropping y'all an update to let you know that work on the 4th volume has started.
We're still in the baby book phase, but it's starting to look like a story.
Release time? Don't make me laugh, it's still too early for that. We don't even have a title. LOL. But we're getting there.

Temporary Bliss Volume 3 Update
Heya all,
I know that it's been a while since you have heard from me, but I just wanted to share some good news with you.
I promise that I haven't forgotten about Ray and Alex, nor have I stopped writing, but life hasn't been too accommodating for the past year or so, which is why I don't really spend much time online anymore.
However, I just want to let you know that the third volume of the series is done, and it's currently undergoing some edits so that I can finally get it ready for release.
I do aim to have it out by the end of the year, but hopefully much sooner than that, depending on how life goes in the meantime.
If you do have any questions / comments, feel free to reach out to me anytime. I will aim to reply to all of your messages, however do keep in mind that it might be a few days/ weeks for that to happen.
I hope that this news will make you happy and excited for the third volume! 😃 😊

Update on volume 3!
Hello everybody,
I hope you’re all nice and dandy and 2021 is treating you better than last year!
It’s babbling time. Lots and lots of babbling about the third volume of the series.
To break the ice, let’s start with a title reveal. I hope you’re all excited for Descent into Madness. I know I am.
At this moment in time, I’ve plotted out about half of this volume and to be honest I am pretty happy with the direction of the story so far.
Will we see more of Ray’s POVs? Definitely. The more I write Ray, the more he wants to step forward and take the lead. And there’s always room for improvement within the story.
I will maintain the same POV structure as for Shadows of The Past I, with a slight shift on Alex’s development, however both main characters will share the spotlight as things are about to go all sorts of ballistic from now on.
So far, there’s despair aplenty and I’ve managed to sketch a good chunk of the first ten chapters or so just to have a view of the bigger picture. My days, it’s grim.
I already have the first three chapters put together and they’re just waiting for the final seal of approval from Sam, however seeing as I got less time than last year, I will be publishing only a chapter per month to allow enough time to write, edit and plot whatever is ahead and shape it into being.
In regards to the tiers, I will create a new one for Descent into Madness and everyone who was on the old SotP tier will need to switch on to the new one to gain access to the new content.
After the first few chapters of Descent into Madness hit Patreon, I’ll be unlocking the first seven chapters from Shadows of the Past for the public and these will be available to read for free – indefinitely.

On the series as a whole:
Descent into Madness will bring the series to its third volume, an incredible feat which I did not believe possible until last year. What comes after that? Well, volume four of course. At the moment I have an end goal in mind and I would like to say that most likely this adventure will end with five volumes in total, if all goes according to plan, of course.
Books four and five are “Untitled” and linear works in progress building on the existing story, more importantly they will follow the same main characters, Alex and Ray, but it’s still unclear to me at this point whether the story will expand past their POVs or not.
It’s a possibility, I won’t deny that. There’s plenty of new and old characters which could take the lead and I bet some of you are itching to know more about them. Hell, I got a few questions myself!
That’s all nice and dandy, now you know about the third volume, but if you are staring at the screen in confusion wondering where Shadows of the Past II is, well then I can happily say that progress has been made on that front as well and I am now confident enough in the story I’m building to reveal what I’m up to with this book.
Shadows of the Past II won’t be out until I’m done with the next two volumes from the main series, then provided I’m still happy with the narrative, I might allow it to see the light of day too.
The star of SotP II will be the infamous Danya of course and this will follow a past POV detailing his history with Raymond. I bet you’re all curious how that went. Characters like Roman, Victor, Vlad, Nolan and Ray’s family will also make an appearance. There is a lot left unsaid, a bloodied history waiting its turn to shine and should my plans come to fruition, it will also be one hell of a ride.
I know, I know… promises, promises. I don’t want to hype it all too much, but that’s the plan I got in mind and I believe it’s only fair to give you guys a glimpse of what lies right around the corner and what you can expect in the future.
Let me tell you that when I first published Dead InsideI had no idea what I was doing. Now having gone through that experience and after Shadows of the Past I, I am still freaking out that I don’t know what the hell I’m doing. But I must be doing something right if you guys support me.
So, stay tuned, first two chapters – volume three drop first week of March.
