A poem from I WEAR A WIG
Lies have surrounded me
With blankets of sadness
And you therefore have driven me
Past the limits of madness
I woke up on night
Just remembering the memories we made
But to my depression,
Away have they all fade?
You’re no more you, neither am I more me
We’re only living in a world of fantasy
Filled with crazy dreams is this life
The fear of oblivion won’t let me sleep or survive
Was it really oblivion that had clicked my mind?
This is perhaps a question I have got to find
We’ve lost ourselves in a world full of lies
That’s brought us to a place, where time was made to fly
Take me to nowhere and grab my hand
‘Cuz I don’t want to have my name in the sand
