Angelo Thomas is a writer, filmmaker and eating disorders activist.

Angelo's life took a turn for the worse in high school as he developed a full-blown eating disorder and lost over half his body weight. He was severely depressed and lost interest in every aspect of life. It wasn't until Angelo's sophomore year of college that he decided to seek help. He spent four weeks in a partial-hospitalization program for eating disorders, which proved to be the most transformative experience of his life so far.
