A letter to Ricky
Hi cousin, Miss you. It’s been a long time. I didn’t think about death back then. Always assumed you’d be with us longer. Thirty is far too young. A lot has happened since then. Yes, I know there’s still a long way to go. You’d be amused by the stories i write now. Though I sometimes suspect that you peek... Read more »

Sexy Snippets: Rock Demons
Tribal is my favorite demon and the character who holds the Lucifer’s Boys series together. He’s not the romantic lead, just a rent boy from Hell. Is this scene, a couple of demons are deciding who Tribal will service first. The demons clenched their fists into something that looked like a craggy red boulders. They raised them and... Certified mediums are certified
Yesterday I went out to Cassadaga to take some photos for the next mystery novel coming out. I love visiting Cassadaga (a good thing since I set the mystery series there), but the place does delight in proving that it can be stranger than anything I can dream up. Cassadaga is a Florida town occupied by psychics. Yes, it’s a... Read more »

Escaping Black Friday
I will confess that Black Friday has never been my sort of day. I’m not really comfortable in crowds. But it seems a waste to spend a day off from work staying home doing laundry. The challenge is to find somewhere to go that doesn’t attract the usual crowds. This Black Friday, I’m celebrating and relaxing with a personal writing... Read more »

Wicked After Dark Blog Hop
If you’re only being wicked after dark, you aren’t trying hard enough! It’s me, Tribal the Demon! Happy Halloween! I love this time of year! Alpha Male Blog Hop
Hey, it’s me Tribal, the demon. The author is kinda busy with a work project, tormenting developers and such, so I said I’d take over for this blog post. Besides, I know a whole lot about alpha males. In fact, my Master, Lucifer, is sort of the ultimate alpha male, and he’s one hot dude. So, why do we love alpha... Read more »

Romancing the Hop with Franco
Fighting demons is easy. Franco doesn’t even bother with weapons anymore. Relationships are another matter. He’d rather pay for “services rendered” than let someone get close to him because he doesn’t think he’s worth being loved. It may take miracle, or at least an angel, to give the hero the courage to confront himself. Want to see more of Franco... Read more »

Romancing the Hop!
When working with writers, I find that romance novels are often considered to be soft, emotional stories that don’t really challenge the reader. Or the writer. They don’t have epic heroes, like fantasy and certainly they aren’t “character focused” like literary fiction. Yeah, right. For me, romance offers me a chance to take a hero on that one journey he... Every hero needs a demon!
In honor of the Hero Hop, Tribal the Demon has insisted on taking control of the blog to discuss his views on romantic heroes. **** Heroes, pfft, all muscles and brawn. Not that there’s anything wrong with that. Okay, let’s be honest, there’s everything RIGHT with that. I’ve spent a little time with the hero in my day. But ladies,... Read more »
