Fall is the time to wish you had done more during the summer and then curl up with your loved ones (the 4 legged ones) and your significant other.
Living in the midwest we've just experienced
50 degree days then 2 days later 80 degrees. Now, its 40 degrees with 40 mph wind gusts and with snow flurries. I can't wait for tomorrow. What am I talking about, I just have to wait 15 minutes to see polar bears frolicking about or a caravan of camels parade past my window. Either way nice and pleasant is rarely used to describe this climate.
I just finished Island of the Mad by Laurie King which was very enjoyable and am now reading a book by a pair of my favorite authors, Douglas Preston, and Lincoln Child. Until their latest Pendergast book comes out I am reading The Pharoh Key. As usual, it is a fast-paced exciting read.
