While wandering the United States in a quest for the Perfect Pizza, photographer Mick Rose pens haiku and prose, as well as the occasional poem. Though his crime fiction can loom dark, and not for the faint-of-heart, he typically tells tall tales involving sexual humor (which sometimes prove explicit).

Mick's haiku poems kindly appear in the September 2018 and January 2019 issues of Better Than Starbucks poetry magazine, as well as the collection YEARNINGS, by Filipino poet Ayo "Carolyn Abanggan" Gutierrez.
