A challenge....
I hereby challenge the entire reading community:
Read any of my books and tell me they are not great!
(Phew!! This shameless self promotion thing is getting exhausting.....but necessary, alas!)

You Tube
I think I'll make a video promo for my books. I wonder if it'll get the same sagebrush blowing across an empty desert non-response there too.
Sorry for sounding whiny. I guess anonymity is just the typical plight of the indie author. I'm not much for social media. It strikes me as kind of shallow and pointless. Oh well, sucks to be me.
Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday!
More drops of sunshine from me later.....

(Shrug)
I don't know how to connect to readers on this site. I suppose with the advent of the internet we are all pod people now. I'm thinking that the famous authors get all the attention.I guess that makes sense, although I have to wonder why we're all over feeding the already overfed. I suppose the fun thing is knowing that I'm only talking to myself. It's kind of liberating, actually. Well, Terence, nice talking to ya man......Cheers!

Talking into the ether...
I've never written a blog. To be honest the word itself is fairly off putting to me. The word "blog" is a portmanteau of the words "web" and "log". It serves it's utilitarian purpose, I suppose, but I think it's distinctly lacking any aesthetic appeal. To me it's like "mud" or "sludge". I'm sorry, these are just inherently unappealing words.
I'm a mailman, working and living in Minnesota. Soon the snow will fall and cover the world in white. That white will eventually turn brown and finally be mingled with black, oily sludge from car exhaust and dirt in the air. That combination makes me think of the word "blog".
"Bloody fog", "Muddy bog", "Bloated frog"......Blog.
