"I was trying to pinpoint what exactly made this collection so effective when I stumbled across a journal entry from when I’d read it the first time in which I referred to it as “a terrified, courageous set of poems.” I’d read the final poem, “Things " Read more of this review »

"A small, stunning collection by an incredible poet whose work I will look for in the future.

Sam Harris
“In fact, "atheism" is a term that should not even exist. No one ever needs to identify himself as a "non-astrologer" or a "non-alchemist." We do not have words for people who doubt that Elvis is still alive or that aliens have traversed the galaxy only to molest ranchers and their cattle. Atheism is nothing more than the noises reasonable people make in the presence of unjustified religious beliefs.”
