Mike Mallow is an award-winning newspaper producer, photographer, and writer with more than twenty years in the newspaper industry. He is a West Virginia University and Fairmont State University graduate with journalism and graphic design degrees. Mike has five published novels with an independent press, one of which was named the Appalachian Book of the Year by the Appodlachia podcast. Mike’s books have been featured in The Charleston-Gazette Mail, Herald-Dispatch, and Kirkus Reviews magazine. A native of West Virginia, Mike currently lives in Minnesota with his wife and daughter.

A poignant look at the different stages of grief told through a middle-grade chiller about sentient dolls, who themselves may or may not operate under their own fear of mortality. Well written, fast and easy read.
