So I have a couple of women whom I am close with and I call them my "Pen Sistas" so today... we were talking and the topic of FIRST PERSON and THIRD PERSON writing came up. Now my question is what do you prefer? Do you like to read a story where it is sort of narrated to you or do you prefer a story where you feel as if you are looking through one character's eyes. Now, as an author what are you most comfortable with? Writing in the first or third person? Let me be the first one to tell you that as an author and an active reader it shows in an author's work when they stray away from their comfort zone. With that being said although my comfort zone is writing in the third person I prefer to read books that are written in the first. Weird right?
