Né à Montréal, Alexis Rodrigue-Lafleur a fait des études en muséologie et en français écrit, a habité en Bolivie et au Maroc puis s’est installé en Outaouais. Il a travaillé dans plusieurs musées avant d’être employé au Musée des beaux-arts du Canada. Il vit actuellement avec sa famille à Gatineau après avoir vécu quatre ans à Hanoï, au Vietnam.
