1. Choose an idea and stick to it! Many stop after 10-30k words due to the lost spark or a new idea. Try to bring new life into the story with new characters, storylines, or use the new ideas to re-light the fire.

2. Know when it's good enough. Nothing is perfect, so you have to realize when it's time to submit and publish!

3. Get others to read it, especially those who you know read the genre, and who have both a supportive and critical mindset.

4. Chances are, the first draft is going to be garbo, and that's okay. If it's amazing, you're some sort of savant.(less)
