We’re About to Fall…
This month is the official start of the holidays in my family. We celebrate a birthday every week in October. Party, party, party.

I love Halloween. My friends and I get together in our crazy costumes to eat scary themed foods like monster cupcakes or have a steaming bowl of Transylvania soup, then dance to oldies with witches, vampires, storybook characters and demonic clowns. Fun stuff.

This week, the temperatures will be in the 90s. I guess it’s our turn for the heat along with fire. On Labor Day we’ll BBQ in the morning and head inside to eat.

It’s been a crazy few weeks out in the world. I’ve thought seriously about writing on my laptop while sitting in a dark closet. I figure I could retreat into my world until things get better outside, but what would that solve?
It’s a huge problem when a few take away rights from the many, and when the inaction of the government impacts our safety, that something must be done to change the dynamic. The 4th of July has a whole new meaning this year, it’s time to act and vote!...

I know I’m a few days late, but I love holidays where we just celebrate. Okay, the holiday is really to celebrate a battle victory for Mexico over France. Not sure how many people know that interesting fact. It doesn’t matter, it’s a fun day to eat and have a margarita.
