I am a published author and a recent university graduate. After raising a family and divorcing, I moved from the Pacific Northwest to Ohio, remarried, published a memoir (The Uncomfortable Confessions of a Preacher’s Kid), and enrolled at Kent State University, graduating in December 2022 at the age of fifty-six with a Bachelor of Integrative Studies in Creative Writing, Women’s Studies, and Anthropology. Scold’s Bridle began during my time at the university. I am a neurodivergent pagan, writer, scrap artist, and visual thinker.

In a plot twist I did not see coming, my art business has taken off so instead of writing, I am hustling to do shows, exhibits, retail, marketing, and six thousand other things that go with being a small business owner, in addition to the immersive and subversive task of creating which is what got me into this position in the first place.
