I've created a bookshelf called, are-we-there-yet-bibliography.
I'm going to try to put all of the books I've used over the years to inform my understanding of the past, present, and future of the American automobile.
I've been surprised myself at the variety of sources that have informed my work. For instance,
The Pushcart War and
The Year of the Jeep are young adult books. I read them many many years ago (I'm an old adult now).
Rereading them as I wrote my own book, I realized how far back some of my ideas -- and feelings -- about cars go.
I hope readers will find this shelf useful and interesting. I welcome questions.
