Elke Lopez believes it is never too late to dream big and work with what you have to achieve it. Her love for writing dates back to her high school years, as she found joy and comfort even with something as simple as her journal entries. Being Latina, raised by a single mom and growing up in a tough neighborhood, she had to fight through obstacles that may have veered her away from her ultimate goal. The goal of becoming an author! Today Elke shares that love for writing with her husband and three sons in central New Jersey. They'd let me know how much they loved me, comparing their love to oddball, larger than life items or scenarios. And I'd respond with "I Love You More Than That!" plus.... our family loves tidbits of fun facts, so I added a fun educational element to the book. (less)
