Shane Kroetsch is the author of dark and introspective stories that shine a light on the condition of being human. Except, sometimes there are monsters too… Over the past six years he has released a collection of short fiction, a zombie outbreak trilogy, and been featured in a growing number of anthologies. The settings in Cold Keep Reprisal are ominous but authentic. The characters are all interesting and varying mixes of good and bad, which add a lot of depth to the story. The ending made me smile (I’m a bit weird) but leaves a wide-open door for book ...more
